The historic village of El Rito has a unique charm. This old Hispanic town presents a terrific library, a traditional adobe church, and old-time stores like Martin's General Store. Opposite Martin's is El Farolito, a small family restaurant world-famous for its authentic northern New Mexico cuisine, and even though it was recommended in the Rand McNally Road Atlas and Gourmet Magazine-an unforgettable dinner costs no more than $8. Their red and green chiles are delicious. While enjoying your stay at the tranquil Casa Ambrosia you may experience this sacred breath of the Earth.
